The aim of the festival is to promote the circulation of short films by supporting young authors who, having no market available to them for the distribution of their works, can use the festival as an opportunity to present their films and make themselves known to the general public.

The Film Festival Opere Nuove is again forward looking. This year, at its 41th edition, it proposes a selection of films made by authors who really believe in this genres and dedicate themselves to the experimentation of this rapid and hermetic ”language” that expresses what is today our life-style, without forgetting the fascination and the pureness of the classical Italian film tradition.

	The first Antonio’s day as thief is marked by tears. During an incursion at the Standa store, his mother is arrested, caught in fragrance of crime by the shoplifting staff. After 20 years, Antonio along with his two inseparable friends tries 'the turning point'. After some pilferages, the time has come to a robbery at a post office. Things don’t go as planned. An agent shoots at them and the band is found bleeding on the asphalt. Antonio would go with a smile, but in the reality he cannot find it, so he uses the imagination. Dressed as Lupine III, the hero of his cartoons, now he is ready to escape with his beauty.
